Well everyone, here is my 2014 year review! 2014 has been an amazing year for me. I have had an amazing year filled with love, happiness and blessings. On this post, I have included some photos from one of my main holidays this year, a trip around the USA. I have tonnes more photos from it, but I just wanted to add the main ones. Firstly, we flew to New York. We stayed in Times Square, and did all of the sightseeing things to do. We went to Liberty Island and went up to the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty; visited the 9/11 memorial and museum, went to the Top of the Rock, and up to the very highest floor of the Empire State Building. The 9/11 memorial and museum was a really emotional experience for me as it is very personal to myself, and when you visit you get such an overwhelming feeling of sadness and heartache. I highly recommend visiting it. For our last day in NYC we visited Central Park, before driving down to Philadelphia. We visited Philadelphia because we have family that live there. Whilst in Philly, we visited the Liberty bell, the art museum/ROCKY steps (obv we did the Rocky run up them), New Hope, and Amish Country. Amish Country is really an amazing place to visit. Their way of life is so different from ours, but its fascinating, and it's a really really pretty area. We then flew from Philly to Los Angeles. There is so much to do in the LA area, and its the best place to be if you're really into film and TV like me. Because of this, I made sure to visit the Warner Brothers Studios and Universal Studios. Warner Brothers Studios was a definite must for me, because it was a dream come true to visit the Pretty Little Liars set. PLL is my all time favourite TV show (apart from the Kardashians of course!!) and I was so happy to visit the set that embarrassingly I cried when I arrived. We were shown the whole set, and I have included some pictures of it down below, although we were only permitted to take photos of the outside sets, not the inside. Other sets included at Warner Bros. was the Friends set (see below), Ellen DeGeneres, Two and a Half Men, the Big Bang Theory, Batman, Scooby Doo etc. I also loved Universal Studios. Universal has rides as well as sets, so we were able to do a studio tour there as well. Universal had some big name sets there, including Desperate Housewives (see below), Jaws, The Grinch, Apollo 13, E.T, War of the Worlds, Psycho etc. It also included rides and areas such as Dispicable Me, The Simpsons, Shrek and many more. 100% worth the money and visit! Whilst in Hollywood/LA, we visited Hollywood, the walk of fame, Calabasas and tried to stalk the Kardashians. Lol. We then went to Santa Monica, Santa Barbara and then Travelled up to San Francisco. We went to see the sights in the city and visit our family in San Francisco. Whilst there, we visited Pier 39, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Redwood trees. We then went from there to Las Vegas. It's a long long drive but Vegas is insane!!!! I am planning on returning for my 21st birthday. Whilst in Vegas, we stayed in the Venetian hotel. The Venetian has to be one of the most beautiful and amazing hotels that I have ever stayed in. It really is just fascinating and its a very 'glam' hotel. The heat in Vegas is so intense in August, and while we were there we did a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon national park. Its well worth the visit, its a really fascinating place, especially when the helicopter lands inside it and you're able to get out and walk around. I feel so lucky to have been able to visit these places, as well as my other holidays. Another highlight of my year was myself and my friends getting into university. I study Media Arts Production at the University of Greenwich, and found out on results day whilst I was in Vegas! I love studying there and I am really enjoying my course. I am so proud of myself and my friends for getting into university, and I know that they will all do really well in the courses they have chosen. I have also decided that from next Monday, I will be starting Positive Quote Monday in honour of my aunt in San Francisco who was diagnosed and has overcome breast cancer this year. She is one of the most positive people I know, and I am so proud of what she has achieved this year, so I wanted to do this as an honour to her. Also for those who have been asking on my Instagram, here is a list of what I got for Christmas: a Mulberry bag, Victoria's Secret pyjamas, Calvin Klein underwear, Victoria's Secret make-up bag, Prada Candy perfume, Chanel Make-up, money and cheques etc. I hope everyone had an amazing and magical Christmas. I wanted to take the opportunity to wish everyone a happy and blessed new year!
